Legal advisory services related to the mass use of copyrights and related rights are one of the leading areas of Grynhoff Woźny Maliński's specialisation.

Apart from traditional fields for the mass use of copyrighted work like broadcasting or cable re-broadcasting, our firm has worked on projects involving new fields of use. We have prepared legal opinions and negotiated agreements for using copyrights in video on request, the sale of ring tones, or the re-broadcasting of television and radio programmes over the Internet.

On behalf of cable television network operators we advised on and negotiated the largest contract in Poland for the mass use of audiovisual work - a cable re-broadcasting agreement with the Polish Filmmakers Association.

We have conducted more than 50 court cases before common and administrative courts involving disputes between users and collective copyright management organisations.

Our experience in the "safe" purchasing of media content involves negotiating agreements with content providers, film producers, distributors and television broadcasters. In the course of our work with the Polish Electronic Communications Chamber we took part in negotiating contracts with TVP, Polsat and TVN.
