In order to ensure the highest quality of service we have established a separate team to deal with competition law issues. The team consists of persons with experience in state competition authorities, and of lawyers experienced in representing clients' interests before these bodies and the courts.

The team advises firms on anti-monopoly law and on combating unfair competition. It evaluates the advisability of actions planned by a client and estimates the risks involved. It protects clients' interests when the principles of fair competition are breached or when proceedings are instituted against a client as a result of that client's actions.

Our lawyers regularly analyse actions taken or planned by clients. They represent our clients before the Competition and Consumer Protection Office and before the Competition and Consumer Protection Court in cases relating to anticompetitive practices, to mergers and acquisitions and to practices infringing the collective interests of consumers, and in court cases relating to acts of unfair competition.

Advertising, and in particular comparative advertising, are an important aspect of our firm's competition law services.

Currently our lawyers represent Tele2 Polska Sp. z o.o. in numerous trials regarding advertisements that compare the client's services to those of Telekomunikacja Polska SA, and the unfair practices applied by the latter in its marketing campaigns.
